For illuminating very fast moving objects. Flash duration of 0.5–10µS. All in one unit for use with the Vision Components VCSBC4018 camera.
The board counts pulses from an incremental encoder. Upon reaching a preset pulse count, the camera triggers. The flash can be activated either by the board (with adjustable delay) or by the camera’s strobe signal. A ring of LEDs focuses light onto approximately a 10mm diameter spot, creating very high light intensity. The VCSBC4018 camera mounts directly onto the board as a complete, standalone unit. Camera power and I/O connections are routed through the board for simplified integration.
